Creating a Blog Print

  • 101

Website Builder allows you to add a blog to your website, where you can create and manage blog posts as part of your content.
A blog lets you publish updates, articles, or announcements that are displayed in chronological order.

How a blog works

A blog in Website Builder consists of two main parts:

  • Blog Page – a dynamic page that displays a list of your posts
  • Blog Posts – individual entries with their own content, title, and publish date

The blog page updates automatically whenever you add or publish a new post. This means you do not need to manually update the page each time.

How to create a blog page

To add a blog to your website:

  1. Open the Website Builder editor
  2. Go to the Pages section
  3. Click the + icon
  4. Select Blog Page
  5. Rename the page if needed

The blog page will be added to your navigation menu. A default layout is created automatically, which you can edit or rearrange.

Creating and managing blog posts

To create a blog post:

  1. Open your blog page
  2. Click New Post
  3. Enter a title for your post
  4. Add your content

Each post is created separately and then displayed on the blog page once published.

You can include:

  • Headings and paragraphs
  • Images and media
  • Links and lists

To structure your content properly, you can use text elements to format your blog content.

Editing and formatting posts

Blog posts use the same editing tools as regular pages.
You can:

  • Format text using the toolbar
  • Add images and media
  • Insert links

This keeps your blog consistent with the rest of your website design.

Publishing behavior

Blog posts follow the same publishing workflow as your website:

  • Draft posts are not visible to visitors
  • Published posts appear on the blog page
  • You must publish your website for new posts to be visible online

If you update an existing post, you will need to republish for changes to appear.

Scheduling blog posts

You can also schedule blog posts to be published at a future date.
This allows you to prepare content in advance and have it go live automatically.

Search engine considerations

Each blog post can include metadata such as titles and descriptions.
